These are the scams most likely to target people your age. Know them before they find you.

Social Engineering
Scammers create fake profiles with stolen photos to build emotional relationships. After gaining your trust, they ask for money, photos, or personal information. The 'person' you've been talking to often doesn't exist.
Blackmail
Scammers take your real photos (from social media or through manipulation) and use AI to create fake inappropriate images. They then threaten to send these to your family, school, or contacts unless you pay or send real intimate content.
Education
Fake WhatsApp/email messages claim you've 'qualified' for a scholarship, government education grant, or olympiad. They ask for a registration fee or your bank details to 'deposit the prize money.'
Account Takeover
Scammers pose as fellow gamers offering free skins, game currency, hacks, or 'account boosts.' They trick you into giving your login credentials, then lock you out of your account โ sometimes selling it or using it to scam your friends.
Phishing
Fake Instagram/Snapchat/Discord pages that look exactly like the real login page steal your credentials. You might get there via a 'your account is at risk' DM, a 'verify your account' notice, or a link from a hacked friend.
