About Cyber Saathi

Who built this, and why

Why this exists

India loses over ₹7,000 croreto cyber fraud every year. Most victims weren't careless — they simply didn't know the warning signs, or didn't know who to call within the critical first hour.

Cyber Saathi was built to close that gap: real India-specific scam scenarios, the exact government helplines and portals to use, and a step-by-step Panic Button for when something goes wrong — in both English and Hindi, for every age group.

Who built it

AI Transparency

The AI Tutor chat is powered by Llama 3.3 via Groq. When you type a question, it is sent to Groq's API to generate a response and then immediately discarded — we do not log, store, or train on your conversations.

The quiz questions, scam simulations, and all other content are static — no AI is involved in rendering those.

  • Not a substitute for legal advice. If you've been defrauded, always contact cybercrime.gov.in and your bank.
