Keep this near your phone. These rules protect you from fraud.
Safety Rules
Never share your OTP with anyone โ not your bank, not the government, not family.
If a caller asks for OTP or PIN, hang up immediately and call the official number yourself.
Real callers never pressure you to act in the next few minutes. Urgency is a warning sign.
Before sending any money, call your family member directly by phone to confirm.
Computer virus pop-ups are fake. Never call the number shown โ close your browser instead.
Do not click links in WhatsApp messages about government benefits or lottery prizes.
The government and banks send letters. They do not verify your details over phone calls.
Never share your Aadhaar number, PAN number, or bank details with a caller you did not contact first.
