A problem with something you bought? Get it fixed — step by step.
Consumer Pal helps you complain to the company, escalate, and if needed take your case to the Consumer Commission — with the right documents, the right forum and the right deadlines. No middleman.
Good to know
- You don't need a lawyer.
- No filing fee for cases up to ₹5 lakh.
- You can file from where you live.
- Keep your bill — it's your strongest proof.
How a complaint moves up
- Complain to the seller or company in writing
- Escalate to their grievance or nodal officer
- National Consumer Helpline — free, before going to court
- Sector regulator or ombudsman, where one exists
- Consumer Commission, filed online on e-Jagriti
- After the order: make sure it is followed, or appeal
These steps are recommended, not compulsory. You can go to the Consumer Commission at any time — and you should, if your deadline for filing is getting close.
