Working Base 50 (Anurupyena)
Multiply numbers near 50 using base 100 ÷ 2
The Rule
- 1Treat 50 as 100 ÷ 2 and find each number's deviation from 50.
- 2Cross: add one number and the other's deviation.
- 3Halve that to get the left part (a half becomes 50 in the right part).
- 4Right part = product of the deviations, as 2 digits (borrow if negative).
